About Dr Thalia Isaacs
Experienced Care
Dr Thalia Isaacs is a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist , she is known for her compassionate approach to women’s health and her commitment to supporting patients through every stage of their reproductive journey.
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Cape Town in 2009, followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2014. She went on to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecology, earning her Fellowship of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa in 2019 and completing her Master of Medicine (MMed) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Cape Town in 2021.
Her specialist training and early career included registrar and consultant roles across the length and breadth of South Africa.
In private practice, Dr Isaacs values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with her patients. She finds deep fulfilment in walking a sustained journey with women and their families, sometimes becoming part of their lives over many years.
She is also involved in a women’s health education initiative, Ziright iGirls, a podcast she co-hosts on YouTube with a close colleague and former university roommate. Through informal but informed discussions, the platform aims to shed light on gynaecological and reproductive health topics that are often poorly understood or under-discussed.
Dr Isaacs’ professional goal is simple but exacting: to provide the highest possible standard of care for her patients, while holding herself to a level of excellence she can be proud of.
As a married mother of two boys, she brings valuable personal insight to her work, allowing her to better understand the concerns and perspectives of her patients.
With a strong academic foundation, broad clinical experience, and a deeply patient-centred approach, Dr Thalia Isaacs brings both skill and empathy to her practice.
